Legal Research
Associates was created in 1995 to save county jails and other corrections
agencies time, personnel, resources, legal risks and money by providing
efficient and comprehensive off-site programs that support inmate access to the
courts by taking the place of jail law libraries.
We are
currently serving thirty-six (36) counties in California: Alameda, Amador, Calaveras,
Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte,
El Dorado, Humboldt, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Marin, Mendocino, Merced,
Mono, Monterey, Napa,
Placer, Plumas, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta,
Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Tehama, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba, providing more than
3,800 responses each
month to inmate requests for legal research materials.
